Press Release – Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Alex Isaac Launches Candidacy for U.S. Congress in Virginia’s 10th District.

Loudoun County, VA, January 10, 2024: Alexander H. Isaac Jr., a retired military officer; a  combat veteran of Iraq; and successful private sector professional, proudly announces his candidacy for the United States Congress, representing Virginia’s 10th District. Alex’s lifelong commitment to public service and his thorough understanding of the needs of his community, makes him a formidable voice for the people of Virginia during this pivotal time in our nation’s history.

Alex and his family have lived in the 10th District for over 20 years making him intimately familiar with the day-to-day challenges facing his neighbors and his community. With Congress at a standstill, fentanyl crossing our border, and America’s position slipping abroad, Alex felt called to serve.

“Throughout my entire professional journey, both as a soldier or civilian, I have dedicated myself to serving the greater good and to helping to  reserve and protect the fundamental values that make our country an enduring force for good and a beacon of hope for people all around the world. In this pivotal moment, our country faces challenges that have compelled me to step up as a citizen servant and run for the U.S. Congress serving the 10th District.”

His vision for the district involves creating an environment that fosters economic stability, a focus on academic excellence, ensures affordable healthcare and homeownership, and prioritizes national and border security, law and order, and local safety. Alex is committed to fostering an accountable government that values the unalienable rights of its citizens.

“We deserve leaders in Washington who will take on the challenges facing everyday Americans, and I am ready to work toward getting results. I will support tackling the housing affordability crisis, stopping smugglers who bring fentanyl into our communities, and work to protect American interests abroad. For too long Washington has had leaders who refuse to prioritize our citizens. It’s time for a change.”
